Life is about to get really stressful starting next week.

I have to...

- study for a Meteorology exam that's probably soon
- start reading a book for History then do a report
- start researching information for Psych of Learning paper then do a powerpoint presentation
- do a million slide powerpoint presentation for Child Psych
- do all the necessary stuff to become a Psych major

Plus I have a few personal things going on.

I looked up before how much the books for my classes would be and well my mouth was open. There's no way I'm paying $617.50. That's ridiculous. Especially if I'm not going to open one or more of them much. I'm definitely doing the Amazon thing this time. I could probably save like $50 a book. That would be nice.

Ok so I was thinking that I'm going to be super smart this semester and not do what I did last time. I'm going to cut down on the procrastinating. No more waiting till a couple days before an exam or even a quiz to start studying. I'm even going to try to read over notes after each class because I heard that's good. I don't want to feel stressed out all the time again. I know working every friday, saturday, and sunday didn't exactly help but hey I like money lol.

I did have many reasons to procrastinate. Trips to Menlo. Going to the diner. Guitar Hero. Monopoly. Story Time. These are just a few. I know, very good reasons.

Hello Livejournal. Long time no see.

2007 is just hours from being over. I remember when a year seemed to pass very slowly. Now it's like WHOOSH! HAPPY NEW YEAR! (again)

I'd say the 3 biggest things to happen this year were:

1. getting a job
2. meeting 3 amazingly awesome people (aka Claire, Steph, and Gania aka the roomies
3. my sister spending 5 1/2 months (definitely felt longer) in Montana doing conservation work

ok I lied...there's one more

4.) Steph introducing me to guitar hero :)

Christmas was nice but as usual it was over too fast.

I got...

Hoodies (can never have enough no matter what my mom says)
Spiderman 3
Pirates 3
The Killers new cd
Ellen DeGeneres's new book
Flash drive
Baseball cards
Dvd about Gettysburg

Friends Season 1 from Claire
$50 gift card for the sports store in Menlo and a very cute bear with a jeter shirt from Steph
$35 Lady Foot Locker gift card from Gania

So here's one of my monthly entries...not a whole lot has happened

Working at CVS is alright. The people that I work with are awesome especially Felicia, Ellen, Pat, Katie, Michelle, Jan, Brian, Julio, and Alan. Well that's almost everybody except Keri and Garrett. I hate working with those two. They mostly just hang out in the office.

Sunday I had to work 8-4. That was horrible. It was soooo busy. It was like no one had anything better to do but to go to CVS.

Things I hate:

- the lady that comes in with a million and one coupons.
- the guy that starts a conversation with anything that moves.
- working with both Keri and Garrett at night. I'm on register for 5 1/2 hours by myself and also have to do newspapers and garbages.
- people that complain to me when I tell them their pictures aren't ready
- when i'm the only person on register
- when i'm ringing up a customer's stuff and they remember that they forgot something and go to get it. while this is taking place a long line forms
- when the phone rings and no one is around to answer it
- i really hate when the people that are on line stare at you like you're going slow or something. seriously, there are 479572957105 other things to look at.

That's all I can think of right now.

Tomorrow I work 1-7. I'm not too happy about that but I think I get paid a little more because it's a holiday so that's good. I'm just glad I'm not going to miss the fireworks.

Woo I made money today!

Today was my first day at CVS. I was praying that the first thing they would teach wouldn't be register but of course it was. The first hour or so I just watched and I remember thinking that it would take almost forever to learn how to do it. In the beginning my hands were actually shaking and I had a little trouble counting the change. That's how nervous I was. But surprisingly it didn't take too long before I got the hang of everything. There's still some things I need to work on like how to do gift cards. I like how most of the customers were patient and didn't get upset if I wasn't sure how to do something.

I work 4-10 tomorrow, monday, tuesday, and friday. I'm not happy about working four days in a row but at least I don't have to go in at 9 like today on those days.

Hopefully I won't be on register all of tomorrow again. I hope they make me face tomorrow. That's easy.

My feet are killing me still. Before it was just my lower back now the pain has gone down to my feet.

I don't know why I even bother making plans to hangout with some people. Something always seems to come up. All I wanted to do was enjoy the last couple of days I had left of being work-free.

So now I officially work at CVS. Today was the interview and it ended with "Welcome Aboard" so everything went well. Surprisingly I wasn't nervous at all. I just had to tell a little about myself and when I would be available to work. Easy enough. I've known since last week I had the job. An inside source aka my new buddy Gina told me that Felicia(manager) had told her that she wanted to hire me.

I start training this Saturday 9-2. Not happy I have to wake up so early. Wish me luck.

I've been feeling very depressed lately. I shouldn't be because it's summer and I thought I was looking forward to it. I didn't think I'd be feeling like this.

I looked up my grades to see if they were there and unfortunately they were. The grade I got for History said that my life is pretty much over. I have to take it again. You know what that means. It wasn't a good letter.

On Tuesday Nicole is flying to Montana for her internship/job thing. She'll be gone for almost 6 months. I miss her already and she's not even gone.

I need a job. Tomorrow I'm heading to CVS to apply. I'm going to finally get a cell phone with my first paycheck. It must be nice to have parents that pay for the monthly bill that comes with it. Instead I have parents that hate cell phones. Oh well I'm getting one because I can't stand going any longer without one. With the next few paychecks I'm going to save to go to Gettysburg again because I need to actually do something enjoyable this summer.

I really wish I was sitting in my dorm room right now talking to Bree. I miss her tons.

Well, that's it.

Freshman year of college is done...over faster than a blink of the eye.

:sigh: I miss it already. It was a memorable year that's for sure.
